DERA is actively involved in providing emergency assistance to communities and individual victims in response to several recent disasters. DERA members are currently active in 18 countries, providing a wide range of preparedness, mitigation, response, recovery, relief assistance and planning duties. Detailed reports of our efforts are included in our quarterly newsletter, DisasterCom, which is available online.

DERA Urgently Needs Your Support

You can help disaster victims now while becoming an important part of the DERA network.

DERA depends on the generosity of our members and other concerned individuals for all we do.

Your donation will directly support our field teams and the victims they are assisting.

Everyone working for DERA is an unpaid volunteer and our administrative overhead is extremely low (about 5%). This means that donated funds are used efficiently for direct mission support.

DERA was founded in 1962 and is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable, tax-exempt organization. We are registered with GuideStar® and our books are open for inspection.
